Medication Protocol

There are now strict rules we have to follow if we are administering any tablets/medication to your dog. We have paper work to complete each time we do this and have to monitor the animal to check for any adverse reaction.

· We have to know the condition the dog is being treated for and we also have to see the original packaging/container the medication came in. This is done so that we can check the vet details and satisfy ourselves on dosage.

· If your dog is on ANY form of medication, you need to tell us at the time of booking or when the medication was prescribed subsequently.

· We will need to feel comfortable that we can administer the medication without causing undue stress to the dog or any risk to kennel staff. If we cannot do this, we will decline the booking.

· We will make a charge for anything other than vitamin supplements being added to a dogs feeding routine, and you will need to speak with us prior to your dog being dropped off to know what that will be.

Please note, we regret we are no longer able to administer insulin injections or accept dogs that require medication for seizures.

ALL ORIGINAL PACKAGING FOR ANY MEDICATION MUST BE BROUGHT TO THE KENNELS.
